Hey Kitty Jammers! This our third beta version of Kitty Jam! This release adds a new song, and builds upon various technical and visual improvements from before. Read on for more details!

What’s New

This release includes the following new features and content:

• New Song: Beautiful Day by Ruwin
• Maybe by Sakura Girl has now been charted for Feline Fretboard & Bongo Bash
• A custom mouse cursor has been implemented

What’s Changed

This release includes the following changes:

• Continuing from and building upon the technical changes and improvements made in 0.5.1, numerous improvements have been made in this release:
  • The entire project has been moved to use Addressables, and take advantage of multiple additive scenes that are loaded and unloaded when necessary at runtime
  • This results in significantly reduced initial load times on WebGL
    • Depending on network speed & machine specifications, initial load times have been reduced by a factor of ~4-25 times
  • This also results in decreased memory usage
  • Assets are now downloaded on demand
• The design of the HTML5/WebGL splash screen has been updated again
• The title screen & startup flow of the game has been altered
• “Perfect” has been changed to “Purrfect”
• The visual design of all UI has been updated to match the new visual design language of Kitty Jam
• The colour of the background in Paw Percussion has been updated to match the new visual design language of Kitty Jam
• Bongo Bash now displays note feedback
• The location of the keybind prompts for Bongo Bash has been relocated

Known Issues

This release includes the following known issues:

• When starting a game type for the first time, the song will not load. The workaround is to pause and return to the song selection menu, then select the song & game type again
