Hey Kitty Jammers! This our fifth alpha version of Kitty Jam! This release revamps Pouncing Parade, adds a new song, and features technical improvements. Read on for more details!

What’s New

This release includes the following new features and content:

• New Song: Maybe by Sakura Girl
  • This song is available to play in Paw Percussion
• Paw Percussion now has a trail between notes

What’s Changed

This release includes the following changes:

• Revamped Game Type: Pouncing Parade
  • Like before, maintain the beat of the music by hitting notes to the beat
  • Move the mouse to move the wand around
  • Move the wand into special wand notes to hit them
  • The scoring for beat notes is identical to Paw Percussion, Feline Fretboard and Bongo Bash
  • Hitting special wand notes at any time will count as a “Perfect” hit
    • Special wand notes will only be available to hit for one second
    • Missing special wand notes will count as missing a note, and will reset the current combo and multiplier
• The song selection menu for Paw Percussion has been updated to add Maybe
• The entire project has been cleaned up and refactored
  • All UI and gameplay input has been moved to the event based Input System
  • Textures now have mipmap streaming
  • Songs now have a special object for storing data
  • Sections of the project have been broken down into Assembly Groups
  • All events are now event driven
• The pause menu exit button will now go to the song selection screen, rather than the title screen
• The splash screen of the HTML5/WebGL version of the game has been customised
• The lighting in Feline Fretboard has been updated yet again
• The slam effect in Paw Percussion has been altered in size and opacity, and has received a new tweaked animation

What’s Fixed

This release includes the following fixes:

• While not visible in-game, Marshmallow the Bongo Cat now has a floor to stand on :D

What’s Removed

This release removes the following features and content:

• The old version of Pouncing Parade is no longer available to play
